Dr. Sadhana Desai MD, FRCOG

Founder Director. Special interest in reproductive endocrinology,assisted reproduction & high risk obstetrics.One of the pioneers in setting the trend of infertility practice in India & credited with 2nd test tube baby of India. 30 years of undergraduate & postgraduate teaching experience in University of Mumbai. At present Honorary Prof. & Head of obstetrics and gynaecology Bombay hospital Institute of Medical Science(BHIMS). She is honorary consultant to Armed Forces Medical Services & was the president of(FOGSI) Federation of Obstetrics & Gynaecologists of India in the year 2003.She is a member of FIGO advisory panel in reproductive medicine. Invited faculty in various national and international conferences & has to her credit more than 100 publications & peer review in national & international journals.

Late Dr. Mehro Hansotia, MD; FRCOG

She was one of the founder directors of the clinic with special interest in reproductive endocrinology, assisted reproduction. One of the pioneers in setting the trend of infertility practice in India & credited with 2nd test tube baby of India.

We are indebted to her husband Mr. Dara Hansotia who played a pivotal role in establishing the centre and in managing initial administrative aspects of the centre.

Dr. Partha Guha Roy, MD DGO

Trained as obstetrician & gynaecologist at University of Kolkata. Joined the fertility clinic & IVF center in 1992 as associate consultant. Before this, he worked as research officer at Human Reproduction research center, Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Medical College, Kolkata & has keen interest in assisted reproduction,reproductive endocrinology & high risk obstetrics. His extensive experience in the management of infertility is invaluable in a role that includes the medical co-ordination of fertility treatment programmes & liaison with the patient.

Dr. J J Patel, MD

Senior Consultant anaesthesiologist with 20 years experience. Associated with fertility clinic since inception

Dr. Ambrish Dalal, MBBS.,D.M.R.E., Diplomate American Board of Radiology

Dr. Dalal is a senior practicing radiologist with special interest in ultrasound. He is pioneer in the field of obstetric ultrasound, infertility ultrasound and various interventional ultrasound procedures. Dr. Dalal is practicing as consultant sonologist in Mumbai at Gamdevi since 1980 and is attached with fertility clinic.

Dr. Sushil Shah, MD

A graduate & postgraduate in pathology & bacteriology from University of Mumbai & research fellow of Cornell Medical center, New York. Founder director of Metropolis laboratory - NABL and CAP accredited institution -Catering to specialized tests ranging from oncology to genetics, molecular biology & immunoassays, using best of breed and latest diagnostic equipment. Associated with Clinic since inception & was one of the four team members of IVF team which conceived the 2nd test tube baby in India and the first in private sector.

Dr Vijay Mangoli, Ph.D.

He earned his doctorate in biochemistry with special project on IVF from Mumbai University. He was a team member of Indian Council of Medical Research which was associated with India’s first documented test tube baby in 1986. He is one of the pioneering embryologists in India. He has numerous publications & presentations in national and international scientific journals & conferences and has contributed many chapters on IVF in medical textbooks.

Dr. Ranjana Mangoli, Ph.D.

She has done her post graduation in reproductive endocrinology and earned Doctorate in Biochemistry from Mumbai University She joined fertility clinic and IVF centre in 1989. She has contributed many chapters on IVF and related topics in Infertility textbooks.

Ms. Kavita Suri, B.Sc.(Microbiology),DMLT

She is a graduate from Mumbai University and an ISAR certified embryologist. She joined fertility clinic in 1997. She has extensive experience in andrology.

Ms. Pranali Tanawade, M.Sc. (Microbiology)

Post graduate in Microbiology from Mumbai University. Joined Fertility Clinic in 2017 as Junior embryologist.

Dr. Rajani J. Patel

Graduate from University of Mumbai. She has joined the clinic way back in April,1984. She combines extensive experience particularly of infertility management. With her renewed interest in the field of infertility. She also coordinates fertility treatment programmes & counsels the infertile couple.
